Youth Climate Justice team at the Irish Environmental Law and Research Workshop
Prof. Aoife Daly, PhD researcher Emily Murray, and Postdoctoral researcher Dr. Florencia Paz Landeira attended the 1st Centre for Law & the Environment Workshop on March 14th. Prof. Daly was one of the Guest Speakers.
Prof. Aoife Daly was invited to speak at the workshop "Challenges and Opportunities in Environmental Law and Research" organized by the UCC Centre for Law & the Environment Researchers Workshop. Sitting on the panel on academic and non-academic career paths in environmental law, Aoife shared some insights on the conceptual and practical experiences of modern Irish environmental law and what her academic career path has looked like over the years.
The event was made up of three 1-hour sessions that discussed the central theme of the workshop from three different angles: Challenges & Opportunities in Modern Irish Environmental Law; Navigating Academic & Non-Academic Career Paths; Roundtable Discussion: Research in Environmental Law. Emily and Florencia joined for the workshop, learning from and engaging with the exciting panel speakers.
