College of Business and Law to present 2024 Sustainability Showcase on Friday 7th June

The College of Business and Law will present its 2024 Sustainability Showcase on Friday 7 June 2024 from 9am to 3:40pm in the Western Gateway Building.

Opening remarks will be given by Professor John Cryan (UCC Vice President for Research & Innovation), Professor Brian Ó Gallachóir (UCC Associate Vice-President of Sustainability/Director of ERI & Director of MaREI), Professor Anthony McDonnell (Interim Dean: CUBS) and Dr Fidelma White (Deputy Dean: School of Law). 

Plenary presentations will be given by Dr. Noreen Byrne (CUBS, Food Business and Development), Prof. Owen McIntyre (School of Law), and Dr. Bernadette Power (CUBS, Economics).

There will be four Parallel sessions in which staff from both CUBS and Law will participate:  Economic and Environmental Sustainability;Technological Innovation for Sustainability and Energy Systems; Social Sustainability, Law and Sustainable Consumption; and Sustainable Business Practices. 

Concluding remarks will be given by Professor Mary McCarthy (CUBS, Managment and Marketing) and Professor Valeria Andreoni (AIB Professor in Sustainable Business).
