Qualified Person (QP) Symposium
The School of Pharmacy is hosting
a Qualified Person (QP) Symposium entitled:
‘The role of QP - The paradigm for the 21st century’
on 26th February 2010 in LG51 at the School of Pharmacy, University College Cork.
This inaugural QP Symposium is being held in conjunction with the MSc. in Pharmaceutical Technology & Quality Systems programme. This conference meeting will be of major interest to industry-based pharmaceutical scientists as the event will include both keynote speakers and workshops highlighting manufacturing & quality issues in the modern pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
The 4 key-note speakers:
Ms. Valerie Mulholland, Founder and Senior Consultant at GMP services
Dr. Colman Casey, Director of Research, College of Medicine & Health, UCC
Mr. Stan O’Neill, Managing Director at The Compliance Group
Mr Paul Sexton, GMP Manager, Irish Medicines Board
A series of workshops on Batch release scenarios will be held in the afternoon
