COVID-19 is still present in our community and can cause serious illness. At Cork Dental School & Hospital we are continuing to do all we can to avoid transmission of COVID-19 during your visit. Please help us in the following ways -

Do not attend the hospital if you have COVID-19, or any symptoms that could be COVID-19.
If you have a condition that makes COVID-19 infection a particular risk for you, please make sure that you tell this to the dentist who is responsible for your care. We are very grateful for your co-operation.

Dr Patricia McDermott conferred with a PhD in Dentistry

Congratulations to Dr Patricia McDermott who was conferred with a PhD in Dentistry at UCC on Friday 28 June 2024.

Patricia's thesis was entitled 'Clinical Need and Economic Factors: Influencing Orthodontic Care in a Sample of Patients in Ireland'. Her supervisors were Dr Noel Woods, Prof Richeal Ní Riordain, Prof Martin Kinirons & Prof Donald Burden.
