2016 BSc in Biomedical Science Conferring
The conferring ceremony for the BSc (Honours) Biomedical Science class was held in University College Cork, on Friday, 28 October 2016.
Twenty six BSc (Hons) students graduated from the Biomedical Science programme, which is run jointly with Cork Institute of Technology (CIT).
The BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science programme is both interinstitutional and interdisciplinary. Biomedical Science Board of Studies members in attendance at the ceremony were Dr Lesley Cotter, Biological Sciences, CIT; Dr Collette Hand, Pathology, UCC; Mr Michael Healy, Biological Sciences, CIT; Dr Sinéad Kerins, School of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, UCC; Dr Brigid Lucey, Biological Sciences, CIT; Dr Brendan O’Connell, Head of Biological Sciences, CIT, Dr Fiona O’Halloran, Biological Sciences, CIT and Dr Paul Young School of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, UCC.
The conferring address was delivered by Dr Brendan Murphy, President, CIT.
The Biomedical Science Board of Studies members would like to wish the BSc Biomedical Science graduates every success in their future careers.
