Following from an address by the UCC President, Professor John O’Halloran, the Dance Club will perform a dance inspired by the ‘Starling Murmuration’ metaphor of the UCC Strategic Plan. This concept relates to the majestic dance of starlings that can be witnessed against the evening sky. Like the starlings, in UCC we strive to ‘murmurate’ together in synchronicity with each other and our environment.
UCC Dance Club host both open and advanced dance classes for students, catering to all levels of experience and creating a vibrant college Dance experience. UCC Dance Club shine in the All-Ireland Inter-varsities and host an excellent charitable event called ‘So UCC Thinks it Can Dance.’
