Launch of Horizon Europe

The Health Research Board (HRB) hosted the online national launch of Horizon Europe on Tuesday April 27th and the School of Public Health's Professor Ella Arensman contributed to this event.

Running from 2021-2027, Horizon Europe will be the most ambitious Research and Innovation programme in the world. 

The launch event provided an overview of the Horizon Europe Health Cluster, and offered practical advice for researchers submitting proposals.
 
 
 
 
 
Horizon Europe 2021-2027 has a budget of €95 billion with €7.7 billion of this designated for Health Research.
 
The Health Research Board (HRB) is Ireland’s lead agency supporting and funding health research. The HRB’s mission is to improve people’s health, patient care and health services by leading and supporting research and generating knowledge, then promoting its application in policy and practice.
 
The HRB focuses on research which helps to drive innovation in Ireland’s health system and supports economic development.
