Visit of Indian Ambassador HE Mr Mishra to UCC

UCC welcomed the Indian Ambassador to Ireland to its historical campus on 08 February 2022.
H.E. Mr Akhilesh Mishra visited Professor John O'Halloran at the President's Office on Tuesday afternoon where he signed the Visitor’s Book and was presented with a copy of John A Murphy’s University College Cork: A Portrait in Words and Images.
This was the Ambassador’s first visit to Cork since taking up his role in October 2021. During the visit Ambassador Mishra discussed the deepening connections between Ireland and India and outlined the opportunities for further cooperation in the area of higher education and research. He also took the time to meet with members of the Indian diaspora at UCC and the wider Cork region.
