UCC welcomed Minister of State Martin Heydon T.D. to campus on 08 March 2022.
In July 2020 Minister Heydon was appointed as Minister of State with special responsibility for Research and Development, Farm Safety and New Market Development at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
Minister Heydon visited Professor John O’Halloran at the President’s Office on Tuesday afternoon where he signed the Visitors Book and met with some of UCC’s leading researchers to discuss agri-food research, development and innovation before later embarking on a tour of some of UCC’s labs and facilities.
