Presenting at PHM 2024

Presenting at the 20th Psychology, Health and Medicine Conference

Programme

The final programme will be shared via the website, and by email to all registered delegates on 28 May. An overview of the programme will be shared by email, and made available on the conference website www.ucc.ie/en/phm/

Delegates should register between 9am and 9.30am at the desks at Boole 3. Maps of the UCC Campus are here, including notes on accessibility. The conference will close at 5.15 pm.

Poster Format

Posters should be formatted in A0, portrait form. We will provide materials (pins, sticky tabs/velcro) for you to attach the posters to the display boards. Posters will be on display for the entire day, and there are dedicated poster sessions. This year the poster sessions will not be chaired, so presenters should plan to stay close to their poster during the entire poster session. We hope this encourages people to have conversations with all who are interested.

Lightning Talks

Presenters of Lightning talks have a maximum three (3) minutes. These sessions are chaired, and the Chair will keep a very close eye on time, to allow everyone to present. A general Q&A for all presenters will take place at the end of the session. Slides must be loaded by USB in advance of the session start time, with volunteers available to assist.

Oral Presentation Sessions

Each presenter has a maximum of 10 minutes, with added time for questions immediately following their talk. Each session will have a Chair. Slides should be loaded by USB in advance of the session start time, with volunteers available to assist.
