Perinatal Mental Health

The NPEC Data Hub - Perinatal Mental Health project is a collaborative effort between the National Perinatal Epidemiology Centre and Ireland's Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Services. Its main goal is to systematically gather and analyse comprehensive data on perinatal mental health. By doing so, the project aims to improve support systems and interventions for women using perinatal mental health services, ultimately creating a stronger and more responsive framework in Ireland.

An advisory group has been formed to guide the project, and the database is currently being piloted in four units, with plans to roll it out nationally.
