Malik Muhammad Qirtas

 

Bio

Malik Muhammad Qirtas is a PhD researcher in the ADVANCE CRT program. His current project, "Loneliness Detection Using IoT," focuses on understanding and recognizing loneliness through technology-based sensing. Drawing from his background in Information Technology (B.E., University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila) and Computer Science (M.S., COMSATS University, Islamabad),  he develops methods to analyze behavioral data from mobile devices and wearables sensors. His goal is to translate these insights into digital biomarkers for identifying and mitigating loneliness and social isolation.
