Lean Green Belt Ceremony

Eight staff members received their Lean Green Belts at the Green Belt Certification Ceremony recently held at the College of Medicine and Health, UCC
Lean training uses a collaborative team approach to simplify processes and to reduce the time they take. Each staff member undertook a project to demonstrate how Lean can make that process more user-friendly. Projects ranged from producing a digital nursing archive recording process to managing the cycle time for research grant applications. Each project resulted in a considerable saving of time and reduced frustration for those involved.
