Brexit: The Likely Outcome & The New Realities for Ireland

9 Mar 2018

Friday, 23 March 2018 5:30pm-7.30pm

AL G.30 Lecture Theatre, Áras na Laoi, UCC

Following on from last year’s highly successful seminar, the School of Law at UCC is delighted to host another update on the implications of Brexit. With Brexit scheduled to occur in just 12 months there is still little information in terms of hard facts surrounding the final outcome.

Citizens and businesses need to be aware of how Brexit will affect their everyday lives and how they can prepare for the inevitable changes that will occur.

Our speakers will address the likely legal and practical outcomes of Brexit and offer solutions as to how individuals and businesses can mitigate the effects of Brexit on their everyday work and life.

In particular the seminar will focus on the rights of individuals in Ireland post-Brexit and the particular issues that are likely to arise in relation to the border with Northern Ireland.

Our expert panel will attempt to provide answers to the key questions that individuals, businesses and lawyers are going to face next year.

Chair

Deirdre Clune MEP
