Abolition of Irish Re-entry Visa

15 Apr 2019

From 13 May 2019 re-entry visas no longer required for holders of valid Irish Residence Permit

From 13 May 2019 visa required nationals who hold a valid IRP (Irish Residence Permit)/GNIB (Garda National Immigration Bureau) card will no longer need a re-entry visa to travel to Ireland.  Their IRP/GNIB card and passport will be sufficient. This brings Ireland in line with other EU member States.  http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/abolition-of-adult-re-entry-visas
