Recruitment of typically developing children

27 Mar 2017

Recruitment of children to form the control group is currently underway.

The project staff are now recruiting typically developing children aged 5 to 12 years to participate in the study. These children will be recruited through primary schools in the south of Ireland.  These children will form two groups, one age-matched group (of the same gender and age of the children with Spina Bifida already included in the study) and one language-matched group (obtain the same language scores and are the same gender as children with Spina Bifida already included in the study).

Currently, there are 14 children with Spina Bifida participating in the research project. The aim is for 30 children, therefore recruitment of children with Spina Bifida still on-going.
