School visit by Minister of State Martin Heydon.
Academic and research staff from the School of Food and Nutritional Sciences, Prof Mairead Kiely, Prof Joe Kerry, Dr Seamus O’Mahony and Dr Emanuele Zannini were delighted to welcome Minister of State Martin Heydon TD to visit the extensive, world-class research facilities in the School of Food and Nutritional Sciences at UCC earlier this week.
Minister Heydon has special responsibility for research and development at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. The Food Institutional Research Measure of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine has been instrumental in supporting research, innovation and the development of a pipeline of talented graduates and researchers over several years at the School of Food and Nutritional Sciences.
