About the EDI Unit
The Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Unit at University College Cork (UCC) is a central unit dedicated to advancing a culture of equality and inclusion. Tasked with leading the development and delivery of the EDI strategy, the unit collaborates extensively with senior leadership, partners and stakeholders. It provides high-level guidance on EDI matters, collaborates with key university figures to set strategic objectives, actively participates in national initiatives, and actively engages with colleagues to enhance participation across the university. The EDI Unit also plays a crucial role in raising awareness and fostering a culture of compliance with UCC’s regulations, policies, and procedures.
