OpenMag

This is an on-going Magnetometry data and software project which is currently in the final stages of review. Please contact us for full project documentation once available. The purpose of this study was to provide solutions to the following problems:

1. Provide a publicly available, easy-to-use tool that can be used to reliably and accurately process INFOMAR magnetometry data.
2. Design a statistical model to identify different classes of anomalies from magnetometer survey data.
3. Identify an approach to account for the variability in the magnetic surveys from different regions.
