TD Urges Planning Application for Cork Limerick Motorway

Áine Collins, a Fine Gael TD for the Cork North West constituency has urged the Minister for Transport to commence the planning process for the proposed M20 motorway between Cork and Limerick.
Although the motorway was not included in the list of projects approved for investment in the next round of the Government's Transport Infrastructure Initiative, Ms Collins' believes it woud be prudent to commence the planning application for such a major and long-awaited project as soon as possible.
Ms. Collins' comments were reported in the Irish Examiner today.
