Final year students present work at the Royal Society of Chemistry in London

Congratulations to Ciara Martha Scanlon (4th year Chemistry) and Ela Demir (4th Year Chemistry and Forensic Science) who both presented posters on their final year projects at the Royal Society of Chemistry (Burlington House, London) on Tuesday 18th March.

Two students and their supervisor pose flanked by a stain glass window and a large portrait painting.The students were invited to attend the RSC Separation Science Interest Group meeting on Sustainable Analytical Chemistry with their supervisor Prof. Melissa Hanna-Brown. Their posters were very well received by the delegates attending, and the students were delighted to attend a meeting and listen to experts speak on a topic that aligned perfectly with their final year projects.

Prof. Melissa Hanna-Brown said "I was delighted to see Ciara and Ela presenting at such a prestigious event and the venue will certainly have made it a memorable day– congratulations!"
