About Trocaire’s Photographic Exhibition:

Trócaire's human rights and environmental protection themed photographic exhibition ‘Face of Resistance’ celebrates the courage and

determination of those who are challenging the activities of corporations, which damage the environment and violate human rights. The exhibition features portraits of activists in countries where Trócaire works who are risking their lives to protect their communities

and environment from abuse by big business. Thanks to Janet Twomey (Centres and Volunteer Officer) Trócaire, Cork for supporting this event.

THANKS especially to UCC’s Clíona Maher (International Strategy Officer for Latin America and the Caribbean) for her Trojan work in bringing this cross-UCC (staff and student)-Trócaire-CGD collaboration together. Muchas gracias agus mile buíochas Cliona!

Coffee will be offered thanks to Bean Inspired Coffee Roasters who support women farmers in Honduras.
