In the Japanese new religion Mahikari, both the body and the soul are conceived of as the magnet and the medium of various adhesive practices and processes, contaminating invasions and praxical countermeasures intended to obviate their influence. In this talk, I will consider how these various forms of incorporation might be understood in terms of the underlying cosmotechnics they articulate: technical engagements with, and within, the Mahikari cosmos.
