The Eighteenth-Century Ireland Society/An Cumann Éire san Ochtú Céad Déag is a multidisciplinary society and we welcome papers from all disciplines, as well as interdisciplinary and comparative research at our Annual Conference.

We particularly encourage early career scholars to submit proposals, as well as those working with new methodological and theoretical perspectives. The 2022 Annual Conference of the Eighteenth-Century Ireland Society is scheduled to take place in University College Cork, 17-18 June. We are also delighted to offer a walking tour of Cork on the morning of Sunday 19 June, which will be led by Kevin Hurley of the Irish Georgian Society. Founded in 1986, the Society produces Eighteenth-Century Ireland / Iris an dá chultúr, a multi-disciplinary journal annually and is devoted to the publication of new and cutting edge research on the Irish experience in the eighteenth century. The Journal is distributed to all current members of the Society.
