BSc in Biomedical Science Conferring 2017
The BSc Biomedical Science class of 2017 were conferred with their awards at the joint UCC-CIT conferring ceremony on Friday October 20th hosted by CIT.
The awards were conferred by both institutions presidents Dr Barry O Connor, Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) and Professor Patrick O’ Shea, University College Cork (UCC). Both presidents, as well as Mr Michael Loftus, Head of Faculty of Science and Engineering, CIT, took the opportunity to say a few words, congratulating students, praising collaborative programmes and acknowledging the contribution of family, friends and staff in the graduate’s achievements. Following the formal group photographic session, the celebrations moved to the West Atrium in CIT where there was a chance for all in attendance to mingle, take some photos and partake of the lovely food set out by the CIT Catering Company.
