BSc Biomedical Science Conferring Autumn 2024
The BSc Biomedical Science class of 2024 were conferred with their degree at a joint UCC-MTU conferring ceremony on Wednesday, 6th November, hosted by UCC.
Prof. Alan Kelly (Head of the School of Food and Nutritional Sciences) introduced the graduands and the parchments were presented by the presidents of both institutions, Prof. John O’Halloran (UCC) and Professor Maggie Cusack (MTU). The presidents congratulated the students, commended the collaborative programme, and acknowledged the invaluable support of family, friends, and staff in the graduate’s accomplishments.
Academic staff present included; Dr Beth Brint (UCC), Dr. Sinead Kerins (UCC), Dr Paul Young (UCC), Dr Annmarie Burns (MTU), Dr. Lesley Cotter (MTU), Dr. Brigid Lucey (MTU), Dr. Brendan O’Connell (MTU), Dr. Fiona O’Halloran (MTU) and Dr Caroline Vaughan (MTU).
