2017 Spring MSc Conferring
The conferring ceremony for the MSc Biotechnology and MSc Molecular Cell Biology and Bioinnovation class was held in University College Cork, on Thursday, 23 February 2017.
Thirty three students graduated with an MSc in Biotechnology and twelve students graduated with an MSc in Molecular Cell Biology and Bioinnovation.
Members of staff in attendance from this School were Dr Kellie Dean, who coordinates the Molecular Cell Biology and Bioinnovation programme, Dr Sinéad Kerins, Dr Cora O’Neill and Dr Paul Young.
The conferring address was delivered by Professor Catherine Stanton, Principal Research Officer, Teagasc and Research Professor UCC.
The staff in the School of Biochemistry and Cell Biology would like to wish the MSc graduates every success in their future careers.

2017 MSc in Biotechnology graduates, Julie O’Mahony and Marie Forde. Julie was presented with the Eli Lilly Award for Academic Excellence in Biotechnology as the student who received the highest grade in the MSc Biotechnology programme in 2016.
