On Monday 28th April, in the Seomra Caidrimh, former students and staff of Béaloideas joined with staff and students of Roinn na Nua-Ghaeilge in honouring Irish language poet Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill.

This was presented by Isobel Ní Riain. Stiofán Ó Cadhla read a poem, Ciarán Ó Gealbháin played music and sang a song, former students Jimmy Crowley and Caoimhín Ó Fearghaíl also sang and played music. The poet was presented with a piece of Criostal na Rinne by Head of the School of Irish Learning, an tOllamh Pádraig Ó Macháin.
