Women's Aid

Rape Crisis Help

Rape Crisis Help provides information about the professional support and the choices available to survivors of sexual violence. You can call, email or drop in to a local service for information and support. They also provide a 24hr Helpline.

One in Four

One in Four professionally supports men and women who have experienced sexual abuse during childhood. Their aim is to reduce the incidence of sexual abuse by intervening in key areas of the cycle of abuse. Sexual Assault Treatment Services

SATU staff provide free specialist care for anybody over the age of 14 who has been recently sexually assaulted or raped. The specialist team provide medical, psychological and emotional needs and appropriate follow up care for victims of sexual crime, in a supportive, sensitive manner. This includes provision of treatment such as emergency contraception and medication to reduce the possibility of developing sexually transmitted infection.  The SATU services respond to requests from the Gardaí for the collection of forensic evidence to aid the legal process and also provide services for people who do not wish to report the incident to the Gardaí.

Coco's Law
