Dr. Sinead Kane has returned to her Alma Mater UCC to lecture on the ACE Diploma in Disability Studies. Along with her academic qualifications she brings first- hand experience of the challenges of being vision impaired in ablest society. Sinead defies stereotypical thinking on disabled people. In her recent interview for the Tommy Tiernan Show she emphasised the importance of recognising that disabled people are individuals not a homogenous group.
