Note: Constables Edward Carter and William Taylor were shot dead in an ambush at Tulligbeg near Ballinhassig on 3 February 1921 by about sixteen Ballinhassig Company Volunteers. Constable Carter had less than two months of service with the RIC; previously, he had been a porter.
