30% Club UCC CUBS Executive MBA Scholarship

- Value: €32,414 (tuition fees for the two-year UCC CUBS Executive MBA programme 2025 - 2027*).

Purpose: Cork University Business School, in association with the 30% Club, has established this scholarship to help promote women in taking on leadership roles within companies and organisations.
The 30% Club is a collaborative business-led effort aiming towards 30% female representation in senior management.
Value: The scholarship consists of 100% of tuition fees for the UCC CUBS Executive MBA programme 2025-2027 for one successful applicant.
Criteria:
To be considered for the scholarship
- applicants must meet the entry threshold and other requirements for the UCC CUBS Executive MBA (course code CKL11), and
- must make an application to the UCC CUBS Executive MBA via www.ucc.ie/en/apply/, and
- applicants must have received an offer and accepted a place on the UCC CUBS Executive MBA.
Apply:
Applicants must also apply separately to the UCC CUBS Executive MBA Academic Director.
This scholarship application must include a short personal statement (of no more than 1000 words) identifying
(i) the reasons why the applicant would benefit from participation in the UCC CUBS Executive MBA with specific reference to the scholarship.
(ii) an outline of future career ambitions with specific reference to the scholarship.
Deadline:
The deadline for submission of the scholarship application to the Academic Director is 5 p.m. Friday, 20th June 2025.
Selection and Interview: Applications will be reviewed by a 30% Club - UCC CUBS Executive MBA Scholarship assessment panel. A shortlist of candidates will be drawn up following the closing date for applications, and these shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview with members of the assessment panel. Interviews are scheduled to take place on the week commencing 30th June 2025.
The awardee will be the person who, in the opinion of the members of the assessment panel, can best evidence, thorough their written application and interview performance, the benefit of their receiving the Scholarship.
The decisions of the assessment panel on the selection, interview and awarding process are final.
Note: Students withdrawing from, suspending, or repeating their studies, due to illness, bereavement or other exceptional circumstances will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
If any recipient of 30% Club - UCC CUBS Executive MBA Scholarship withdraws from the programme or fails to continue throughout the year to meet the attendance and other requirements for the programme including examination entry, they may be required to repay to the University the whole or part of the scholarship.
