Overseas Electives and Observerships

Students who wish to come to UCC Paediatrics for an elective or observership can only be accommodated from June - August for a maximum of 4 weeks.

Applications must be submitted through the following link  https://www.ucc.ie/en/medical/incomingmedicalelectives/.  Contacting consultants directly will render your application void.

THE APPLICATION PORTAL FOR SUMMER 2025 WILL OPEN IN NOVEMBER 2024.

Please note that UCC School of Medicine cannot accept any further Erasmus placements.
