Batoul (Sara) Sarvi

Biography

Batoul (Sara) Sarvi is currently studying on Edge Network Support for UAV Communication as a Ph.D. Student in UCC under the supervision of Prof. Cormac Sreenan and Dr. Ahmed Zahran, in MISL/CONNECT, School of Computer Science & IT, University College Cork, Ireland, and they have worked with ADVANCE CRT.

She received her M.Sc. in computer networks from Yazd University, Yazd, Iran, in 2015, and her B.Sc. degree in computer engineering from Hamedan University of Technology, Hamedan, Iran, in 2012.
She also worked as a Research Assistant at the Digital Media Lab of the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, from 2013 to 2015.  Besides, she is known as an expert in software test engineering and she has worked in this field from 2015 to 2020 on a great variety of software projects.

Research Interests

Her research interests are spread across different topics in wireless mobile networking, such as multimedia communication, Error control schemes, energy-efficient mechanisms, mobility and resource management, and providing reliability. In addition, she has more experience on Sensors and Drones as mobile wireless nodes.
