FUAIM Concert - Ramtin Nazarijou - 29/11/24, 1:10pm, Aula Maxima
Ramtin Nazarijou started music by playing Santur in Ms. Mina Oftadeh's class in June 2004 which continued for ten years. He also studied the theoretical music knowledge such as harmony and counterpoint with Mr. Kiavash Sahebnasagh. Nazarijou studied Biomedical Engineering at Tehran Polytechnic (Amirkabir University of Technology) as his Bsc and in April 2017 he gained the First place in Iran's National Masters exam in Iranian Music Performance and finished his master's course at the College of Fine Arts, University of Tehran as the first rank as well.
He has published 8 books, with 2 more forthcoming in the next months, and has released two albums and dozens of articles in different magazines and journals on the subject of Iranian Classical Music. His areas of interest and research are: History of Music, Iranian Classical Music Repertory and Music Analysis. Along with his Music activities, he has been working as a Math Teacher since 2012. His area of expertise in Math are Calculus and Analytical Geometry. Nazarijou has been teaching at University of Tehran, College of Fine Arts, Faculty of Music and Dramatic Arts as a Guest Lecturer since February 2023.
