Wall-mounted Lumix camera, facing the podium, that can be adjusted with a remote control.

Eduroam Wi-Fi (requires login with UCC credentials) 

Desk Microphone for use with MS Teams and recording, are connected to the in room PA system

2 handheld & 1 lapel rechargeable microphones are kept on the lecture desk for your use

 

HDMI and USB - C connections to projector available for laptops/mobile devices

Microsoft Teams for streaming of lecture content

While we are unable to support the use of Zoom it is compatible with all campus rooms

If planning an event, please log it on the UCC Services Portal

For lecture & projector

  1. Switch on the computer at the lectern.
  2. Log in to software of choice, Teams, Panopto. Zoom etc.
  3. Switch on the data projector by pressing the Display On button on the Extron system controller on the podium.
  4. Ensure the volume is turned up on the Extron controller.
    • PC Image
      • Turn on Extron controller, PC, and monitor.
      • Push PC button on Extron controller.
    • Laptop Image
      • Use HDMI or USB C cable to connect to laptop – cable will be on the desk.
      • Mac laptops may require you to bring an adapter.
    • Document Camera Image
      • Set up as you would using PC image
      • Push DOC cam button on controller
      • Zoom is adjustable on the camera

Your system choices will be the same for Teams, Panopto and Zoom.
