Biography

Audrey is lecturer in the department of Paediatrics and Child Health at UCC. She is a member of the EU research project, EuroPrevall, which aims to improve quality of life for parents, children, teenagers, and adults with food allergy. She was a member of the EU Heal-Train project which developed training tools and online modules for professional researchers (e.g market research agencies, private and public health and food related institutes) who assess the needs of children and families with specific medical conditions.

Audrey developed the Cork Algorithm for predicting food challenge outcome and is first author in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology publication 'Highly accurate prediction of food challenge outcome using routinely available clinical data'. She is a regular presenter at food allergy related conferences.

Having obtained an MA in Applied Psychology in UCC, Dr DunnGalvin undertook a PhD in the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health on developmental trajectories in food allergy. She is also a registered psychologist and a biostatistician.
