11 outstanding Munster women to feature in Accenture’s Women on Walls at UCC
Edna O’Brien, Joanne O’Riordan, Honora ‘Nano’ Nagle, Mary Crilly and Dr. Naomi Masheti are among the eleven women selected for Accenture’s Women on Walls at UCC. More than 600 nominations were submitted by members of the public following an open call for subject suggestions. An open call to artists has now been announced to create the portrait series, which will hang in UCC’s historic Aula Maxima.

€2m awarded to future UCC research leaders in health and social care research
University College Cork (UCC) researchers have been awarded a combined €2m for separate projects that will find novel solutions to monitor patients with inflammatory kidney disease and better understand how social determinants affect suicidal behaviours.
