New approach to milk allergies promises breakthrough

Study shows that using a novel advancement therapy called the “Milk Ladder”, was almost four times more likely to be successful in safely reintroducing cow’s milk to children with milk allergies in comparison to other classic approaches used in other countries. Research conducted at the Irish Centre for Maternal and Child Health Research (INFANT) at University College Cork and Cork University Hospital. This discovery marks a significant breakthrough in allergy management and opens the door for parents to play an active role in successfully re-introducing milk to children with milk allergies.

University College Cork and Cork Opera House announce call for 2025 Theatre Artist-in-Residence

One-year bursary of €20k to provide an opportunity for a professional Theatre Artist who is also an international migrant, refugee or asylum seeker.  The residency aims to provide a supportive environment where the artist can freely explore their practice. 2025 Call for a Theatre Artist-in-Residence is supported by UCC’s University of Sanctuary programme.
